Kenya Safari Experience
The safari will take you to the remote and arid northern region of Samburu where you can see desert adapted species such as the Gerenuk and the Reticulated Giraffe before being whisked away to the teeming savannahs of the Masai Mara, home to one of the greatest shows on Earth – the great Migration.
Then travel to Amboseli to see Elephants against the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro. The reserve is one of the best places in Kenya to see the highly endangered Black Rhino and is also renowned for its Big Tuskers.
Day 1: JKIA/Nairobi
On arrival in Nairobi, on the first day of your Kenya safari you will be met at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our customer service representative and driver-guide and transfer to your city hotel for check in. You have the afternoon to relax before a pre-departure meeting with your tour guide is held in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Fairmont Norfolk Hotel (DBB)
Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve
In the morning you will be driven to Wilson Airport to board a scheduled domestic flight to Samburu, one of the aridest Kenya safari parks. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by a representative from the camp and transferred to your lodge for check-in and lunch. After lunch, you will relax at the lodge before setting out on an afternoon game drive.
This arid region is home to a surprising diversity of wildlife that is sustained by the Ewaso Ng’iro River. Look out for desert animals such as Besia Oryx and the Gerenuk.

Day 3: Samburu, Shaba and Buffalo Springs National Reserves
Enjoy breakfast in the bush before exploring Samburu on both morning and afternoon game drives, returning to the lodge for lunch during the day. The river is home to some of the largest Crocodiles in Africa, and the reserve is a good place to look out for Cheetahs during your game viewing drive.
The reserve has natural springs which are fed by underground aquifers which carry the water all the way from the melting glaciers on Mount Kenya.

Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve
Early morning game viewing drive, then return to your lodge for breakfast, then check out and transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight departing to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, you will be met by a representative at the airstrip and transferred to your camp for check-in, followed by lunch. After lunch, you will relax at the camp before your embark on your late afternoon game viewing drive. Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the iconic wildlife regions of the African continent and has abundant plains game and one of the largest Lion populations on Earth. Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve
Today spend the whole day in the Masai Mara National Reserve, the most iconic of the Kenya safari parks. Head out on morning and afternoon game drives – returning to the camp for lunch.
Explore the wide sweeping savannahs which at certain times of the year team with over 2 million Wildebeest, thousands of Zebra, and Gazelles, all closely followed by the predators. You can see all the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino, and Elephant) in the Reserve.

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve
Today you can choose to do an optional activity, either an early morning Hot Air Balloon safari (a spectacular way to view the sweeping plains) or a walking safari, during which a knowledgeable ranger will decode the secrets of the bush for you. Alternately, just relax and head out on a game drive before spending some time relaxing at the camp.

Day 7: Amboseli National Park
Early morning game viewing drive, return to your camp for breakfast, then check out and transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight departing to Nairobi, Wilson airport, then connect your flight to Amboseli National park. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by a representative from the camp and transfer to your camp for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon you will be taken on a guided nature walk in the Amboseli concession area.

Day 8: Amboseli National Park
You will spend the day in Amboseli. Head out on morning and afternoon game drives in search of the wildlife. Amboseli is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. The park is home to many Buffalo and you will have good Hippo sightings in the swamps.
This is one of the best places in Kenya to see the endangered Black Rhino.

Day 9: Nairobi/Departure
After a morning game drive in Amboseli and a delicious breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight departing to Wilson airport. On arrival at Wilson, you will be meet by our driver-guide and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.
