Day 1: JKIA/Nairobi

You’ll be transferred from the Nairobi Airport to Giraffe Manor, a boutique hotel set on private land that is home to a number of endangered Rothschild giraffes.

Day 2: Nairobi

Today you have at leisure spending your time at Giraffe Manor. You can relax in the gardens and just enjoy being with these very special creatures.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve

This morning you will be taken to Wilson Airport for your flight north to Samburu. A driver-guide will meet you on arrival and take you on a game drive back to your lodge. Settle in and enjoy the superb views before heading off for your first taste of safari this afternoon.

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve

Enjoy a full day on safari from Saruni Samburu today. There are two activities available each day, and you can choose whether to head off on a traditional game drive, night drive, or walking safari.

Day 5: Samburu National Reserve

Game drives are a great way to explore further afield and see some of the bigger game, whereas the walks are a good chance to learn more about the smaller creatures in the ecosystem, enjoy the birdlife, and track animals by their footprints.

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve

This morning after breakfast, you will have time for a short game drive on your way back to the airstrip for your flight south to the Masai Mara. After lunch, once you’ve settled in, you can head out on an afternoon safari activity and start exploring this fantastic conservancy.

Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve

On safari in the Mara. You can enjoy morning and afternoon game drives from your camp as well as short walking safaris. The camp is situated in a private conservancy within the Mara the number of camps and vehicles here is strictly limited giving you by far the best safari experience away from the busier areas of the park.

Day8: Masai Mara National Reserve

Another day exploring more of the Mara from Salas camp. The guides here are superb and will be keen to ensure you see as much as possible during your time! If there is certain wildlife in particular that you’re keen to see, do let your guide know so they can try to take you to the right areas.

Day 9: Masai Mara National Reserve/Nairobi/Diani Beach

Today you will depart from the Mara by light aircraft for the coast. On arrival, you will be met and transferred the short distance to your beach hotel where you can relax and unwind after your safari.

Day 10: Diani Beach

Today you can simply relax on the beach after your safari and do as much or as little as you like.

Day 11: Diani Beach

Today you might like to head into Diani and spend some time exploring the lovely little shops and numerous great restaurants in the area.

Day 12: Diani Beach

During your stay you may want to arrange to go snorkelling. You can take a trip in a traditional wooden dhow to the coral reef just off coast where you can enjoy exploring the beautiful underwater life.

Day 13: Departure

You will be collected from your hotel and taken to Mombasa Airport for your onward flights today.
